American made semi-automatic blowback centerfire carbine chambered for 5.7x28mm, manufactured in Cocoa, FL. Introduced to the market in 2000, this rifle can be folded up into a neat package and fit into reasonable sized carrying cases, that don't look like a gun case. This is a third generation rifle that features a 16.1" barrel with a threaded muzzle and thread protector, no installed iron sights, serrated curved trigger, charging handle on stock tube, utilizes FN 57 twenty-round magazines, push-button magazine release, manual bolt hold open, and annular cut manual push-button safety. The Flat Dark Earth (FDE) synthetic furniture consists of a picatinny accessory rail on top and bottom of the forend, a sling slot at square textured butt, adjustable buttstock, M-Lok rails on the left and right side of the square textured forend, and square texturing on the pistol grip. To fold carbine in half for storage or travel, the trigger guard acts as a latch. The original FDE finish retained is approximately 99% with nothing remarkable. Metal displays no rust or deformation. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the action is smooth and crisp. Rifle includes the original factory cardboard shipping box with manual.
